Vanilla Survival. Scaffolding, Do You Use It? I had a Minecraft discussion with a friend and we were talking about how we go about building our structures. I realized that I have an auto-bamboo farm but I have never utilized scaffolding. My friend does constantly. I still in the old mind set of using old ladder systems and dirt blocks or random ...

  3. Can villagers climb up scaffolding? : r/Minecraft - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/gcxnc3/can_villagers_climb_up_scaffolding

Yes but not deliberately. The same goes for ladders and wines. It usually happens if they are walking forwards and happen to walk into a scaffold, ladder or wine that they will climb it until they get to the top. If the top is blocked, for example a ladder with a closed trapdoor at the top, then the villager will be stuck on the top of the ...

With dirt you can only go up, or waste a significant amount of time re-diffing the dirt tower you made to travel down it safely. Bro when scaffolding was introduce into my life my soul was blessed like bruuuhhhh I love scaffolding so much. Once you have a spider farm and a bamboo farm scaffolding is just there in every build permanently.

You don't place the scaffolding onto the side of the one you are standing on, you place it while your cursor is on the top of the scaffolding you are standing on. The scaffolding will be added to whatever side you are facing. You can make them go out all four directions. You can jump and crouch to pillar straight up.

  6. How to make a hidden false floor? : r/Minecraft - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/smm8l1/how_to_make_a_hidden_false_floor

You cannot phase through carpet. I would recommend this flush ground piston door. I agree, carpet is probably out of the question, as you cannot go through or move it without it popping off. You could sticky piston wool blocks instead to move out of the way with a hidden trigger. Or you could shulker boxes.

Pretty sure they dont because mobs cant spawn on transparent blocks like buttons, redstone, glass but they can spawn on slabs that are on the top part of a block

  9. Can you place scaffolding downwards from a ledge to build down?

    www.reddit.com/r/technicalminecraft/comments/j7r98h/can_you_place_scaffolding...

If you mean scaffolding blocks, they are gravity blocks when not supported by another scaffolding from the side. If you face down right near the edge and place 2 scaffolding blocks, the second will hang over the edge. Then you can walk over the edge on the scaffolding and crouch to place more blocks straight down until you can descend.

  10. Question about scaffolding in bedrock: : r/Minecraft - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/smxfu2/question_about_scaffolding_in_bedrock

Pretty sure it works just like other blocks, except it can only go sideways for so many blocks and then will fall. If you want to go sideways, simply look beyond the block or click on the top half of the side of the scaffold already placed. click the side. The side you shall smack, or tall is your scaffolding stack.

  11. If you're not using scaffolds, why? : r/Minecraft - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/1astrdd/if_youre_not_using_scaffolds_why

You use WAY more scaffolding to move sideways for builds or mining, since every 4 or 5 columns have to be built to the ground for support. With dirt (or other non-gravity block), you just bridge out. One errant punch or sword swing on the ground, and your entire scaffolding comes tumbling down. I’m a klutz… this happens a lot to me.
