Liberty Hall is an historic, American building that is located in Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Purchased by the borough of Quakertown in 1977, [2] it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. [1]
The village was named for the tavern built in 1818 by Henry Shelly, who was a descendant of a Mennonite family who settled in the area circa 1720. It was a stop on the stagecoach line between Philadelphia and Allentown, and later a trolley stop.
