[3] During his tenure, Katy ISD grew from a Class A district to one with two 5A high schools. It is a part of the Katy Independent School District. The school opened in August 2017 to 9th and 10th grade students, relieving Katy High School and Morton Ranch High School . The more than 635,000-square-foot (59,000 m 2 ) building, with a capacity of 3,000, has three stories.
Saint John XXIII serves the west side of the Houston area in the Greater Katy Area. Students from the Katy, Spring Branch, Cypress, Memorial, Rosenberg and Sugar Land areas attend the school. Aristoi Classical Academy in Katy, Texas is a second-generation public charter school in its 23rd year of operations as of 2019. The school was originally West Houston Charter School, but by 2006 it had low enrolment. [3]
