The Woodstock Playhouse is an American summer stock theater located at 103 Mill Hill Road in Woodstock, New York.Founded in 1938, the not-for profit theater, which is owned by the Pan American Dance Foundation, hosts theatre, music and other presentations throughout the year.

In 1968, the Town Square Players was established. They were incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1973. In 1974, the Woodstock Musical Theatre Company was founded and made the Opera House their home. In 2019, the companies merged to create Theatre 121 and still perform regular seasons at the Opera House every year.

The first tour starting in 1969 and finishing with three dates in Europe in January 1970, was the first Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tour. The tour was notable for performing at many of the era's major festivals including their second ever gig, a one-hour show at the Woodstock Festival in the early morning of August 18, 1969, which was a baptism by fire for the group.
