Constant problems with Citi online logging on. For the last 6 or 8 months, the biggest headache with any credit card is signing on with CitiBank. I/we have 2 branded Citi cards, a Costco Visa and Citi-backed Wawa and Home Depot (actually 2 HD cards mine and the DW's). Every single time we try to log on to Citi to pay a card our "information" is ...
10-21-2024 01:19 PM. Re: Citi Cards - Product Changes and Approval Requirements? Most product changes would not create a new account and typically just a difference in card benefits. Typically your account number, CL and APR stay the same. Not much difference in Simplicity or DoubleCash from an underwriting perspective.
Citi statement cycle dates have always been variable for as long as I can remember, IME. It's important to note that Citi isn't unique to variable statement closing dates. American Express has them as well. So does Capital One (changed to variable dates not long ago), Wells Fargo, TD Bank, PNC, FNBO, BMO Harris, and so on.
Voila. 2% reduction. Do this every year. Say you'll close your account if they can't help you and you have a 0% offer with someone else. Note: This only works if you don't tend to carry a balance and have never slipped up. I have paid my Citi card on time and paid more than the minimum for 6 months.

I have one other Citi card (Double Cash). Overall % Utilization at time of application was 10%. Before applying, my Experin FICO score 8 was 792 with 5 hard pulls, one of which is in the last 12 months. The new inquiry caused my score to drop 3 points. Citi offered balance transfer and temporary card number with a portion of the credit limit ...
Same here, if it does my wife will be quite annoyed. Her Sears TY card is by far her oldest account at 43 years. They also offer some pretty wild point bonuses of 10% or even more occasionally. Scores: March 21 FICO 8: EX 810, TU 808, EQ 813. AoOA: closed: 36 years, open: 25 years; AAoA: 11.8 years.
Unfortunately, being an AU on the Citi Costco CC will not have any bearing on the previous IIB or the current BK on file. Typically, it takes 5+ years to be elegible or to be considered for a variety of their core cards, including Costco. Citi retail CCs tend to be more flexible with the BK, but YEMV. Message 2 of 23.
Re: Costco Citi Visa Score needed? It would help if you could list data points, such as age of oldest account, age of youngest account, average age of account, any history with Citi, credit limits, etc. Based on what you posted, I think you are probably on the edge, leaning toward likely to be approved.
Re: New AT &T Points Plus card by citi. Congrats! To get the statment credits: "The amount of your statement credit will be based on the purchases you made on your AT&T Points Plus account during the billing cycle. If you spend $500-$999.99 on purchases in a billing cycle, you will receive a $10 statement credit; if you spend $1,000 or more on ...
