Chrome does not do this.
Thank you, but I don't think that is the issue. I already have Edge configured to do what I want upon start. What I'm describing is not what happens when Edge is started, but what happens in the middle of using it. I might be browsing for ten minutes before a new tab spontaneously opens with bing.com.
This morning when I started Edge I am being automatically redirected to Bing every time I am searching with the address bar, even though the standard search engine is Google. I have confirmed my settings, restarted Edge, updated Edge and restarted my laptop. It has been working fine for the past year or so even when in developer beta...

Using the Control+Shift+Delete keyboard combination while the browser is open and in focus will bring up the browser history clearing screen in Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Edge. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask back any questions and let me know how it goes.
