10,593. 1,076. Illinois. I look at King Sailfish and I look at New Wave and I see a noticeable difference in quality. New Wave has some beautiful stuff. Their billfish IMO have more natural positioning, better detail, the fins are cleaner and they don't look like a cheap plastic fish. I guess King isn't too bad.

I noticed that King Sailfish mounts have blanks for sale and they look pretty good , priced very reasonably and claim to ship in 2-3 weeks.
Order one from king sailfish mounts in Ft. Lauderdale FL. Most likely the skin will be too oily to use like a bluefish. You can order just the blank and paint it yourself.

Im looking for input on the best fish replicas. I need 2 barracudas, a 77" goliath grouper, a 80" gar, and 2 big yellow fin tuna.
Ideally we are looking for a king fish, mackerel, or a tiger musk. Although we are interested in any that may be available. The size that we are looking for is anywhere from 1.5 to 3.5 feet. Be very aware of the overall condition of the body since many/most od the old sailfish mounts used a patch of skin glued to a form. The skin was then modeled in using plaster like materials that tended to crack and crumble with time. That can be a very time consuming and troublesome repair that can lead to a lot of headaches. LOL!
