Provider self-service offers an easy and convenient way for TRICARE providers to submit claims, referrals and authorizations, check patient eligibility and more.
Providers must be TRICARE-certified in order to file claims and receive payment for TRICARE services. Certified providers must meet the licensing and certification requirements of TRICARE regulations and practice for that area of healthcare. You can get care from any TRICARE-authorized provider, network or non-network. US Family Health Plan (USFHP) If you participate in USFHP, please call, (800) 74-USFHP or (800) 748-7347 for information regarding your plan.
All referrals and authorizations must be submitted through provider self-service. When completing a referral, always include the sponsor's TRICARE ID, diagnosis and clinical data explaining the reason for the referral. If the patient needs services beyond the referral’s evaluation and treatment scope, the PCM must approve additional services.
