Thomas A. Mensah (12 May 1932 – 7 April 2020) was a Ghanaian judge, law professor and diplomat who served as judge and president of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) from 1996 to 1999 and continued as a judge from 1999 to 2005. He was the first president of the tribunal.

Stanisław Michał Pawlak (born 27 September 1933, Kalisz) [1] is a Polish international law scholar and diplomat, ambassador of Poland to Canada (1978–1983), Syria (1996–2001), permanent representative to the United Nations (1989–1991), and judge of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (2005–2023).
Since October 1, 1999, he has been judge at the International Tribune in Hamburg. Later, he was president of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) from 2008 to 2011. He succeeded the German jurist Rüdiger Wolfrum and was succeeded by the Japanese Shunji Yanai.
