The film begins with Rada returning home to her children, who have been left alone while she was gathering fruit. Singing neighbors praise her, but she confides in them her fear of Titi Suru, the wolf. Meanwhile, Petrika the donkey, a lynx, and the wolf’s nephew are watching Rada’s children, singing that Titi Suru is coming to quiet them.
The film grossed $13.8 million in the US and Canada, making it the second-highest grossing Spanish language film in the United States at the time, [23] and poised Bernal for crossover success into American markets [24] (Bernal's 2004 performance in The Motorcycle Diaries would go on to break this record). It grossed $33.6 million worldwide.
The film is a remake of the 2015 French film Daddy or Mommy (original title: Papa ou maman), [3] [4] directed by Martin Bourboulon and written by Guillaume Clicquot de Mentque, Matthieu Delaporte, Jérôme Fansten, Alexandre de La Patellière. [5] The screenplay was adapted by Eric Navarro.
The film stars Osas Ighodaro in the lead role whereas Kunle Remi, Kehinde Bankole, Femi Adebayo, and Shafy Bello made supportive roles.
