A few days ago, I received one of the new Colt Grizzly revolvers for a couple of T&E articles. It's basically a Python in .357 Magnum, but has some distinctive features like an unfluted cylinder, ported barrel, Hogue rubber grips, and special marking. I have several .357 Magnum "Bear Loads" for the shooting evaluation.
It sounds like colt wants to increase production, but is having a hard time getting their guys interested. I would imagine they aren't able to produce many with that number of staff. Another poster showed what they claimed were recent pictures from the colt factory of SAA parts, so apparently they are doing them in house.
