Hello, I recently found a disc copy of Call of Duty 2 and installed it on my Windows 10 PC. However, the game will not launch, even in compatibility mode (I tried every compatibility mode setup).
Select Profile & system, then Settings. In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear. Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart.
I have an old version of Call of Duty 2 made around 2005-2006. It worked great before I upgraded to windows 10, but after installing Call of duty 2 game of the year addition the single player won't open at all. I tried running the single player in administrator mode and had it on compatibility mode ,but nothing worked.
Go into the programs folder in windows (x86) and call of duty folder. 06. make an old version folder for the original call of duty and offensive executable files. Move the originals to them. 07. Now take the NoCD executables you decompressed and put them in the Call of duty folder in windows\programs x86/callofduty.
Call of Duty slow update download. For some reason my Call of Duty Modern Warfare will only download at less then 20mbps. Any other game I attempt to download I get my usual speed (60 - 90 mbps). I’ve had this issue with this game before, last time I tried to update it. If anyone knows how to fix this I’d massively appreciate it.
The v1.0 or v1.02 ENG fixes should work for you. I just downloaded v1.02 and scanned the files with Avast and Malwarebytes and it came up clean. To do this download and install Bink 2 from RAD Game Tools. (this is a developer tool, but you can use it as a BINK video player) Once installed (only about 3MB) you only need to double click on the video files to run them.
Download and install the full DirectX End-User Runtimes (DX9). The web installer sometimes has issues with Windows 10. You do need DX9 for those particular games.
BIOS, disable via Device Manager, or uninstall the drivers for the Integrated audio. The same if you are using HDMI for audio, as the drivers for the graphics card will also install. HD Audio drivers that work with HDMI. - Also check Device Manager \ Sound, Video and game controllers for other audio devices.
