The four gases most used for airsoft GBB guns are Green Gas, HFC-134a, Red Gas, and CO2. Green Gas is also known as Top Gas and is, in reality, nothing more than propane (with some perfume and silicone oil added). The main use for HFC-134a and Red Gas is in the refrigeration industry.

If there is a determination that classifies an airsoft gun as a replica firearm, the onus will be on the importer to prove that the particular device does not meet the elements of a replica firearm. If an item is allowed into Canada, applicable duties and taxes will apply. The rate of duty depends on the item and country of origin. "

If you choose to use airsoft guns to deter Coyotes, get either something that uses Co2 or is An Airsoft Eletric Gun (AEG) which uses lypo batteries, and then run a heavy gram of bb's in it. (.40 grams preferably.) This will give it a good sting without hurting it too badly.

An airsoft gun would be expected to operate between -10c to 37c and will never come close to the dropping point of most industrial greases. Figure 4: To find the drop point, the grease is heated in a cup until the first drop of oil drips out of a hole in the bottom (Exxon Mobil, 2009).

Gearbox's like in the M4 are a lot harder to reduce sound as the motor can move a little off alignment. To make the quietest AEG there are 22 points you will need to work on. Here they are. 1. Air seal - When you have a good air seal you can use a weaker spring because you do not have as much waisted gas.

  10. How to lower fps on airsoft guns

    www.airsoftsociety.com/threads/how-to-lower-fps-on-airsoft-guns.77877

Using higher BBs to lower the FPS is not a good way to achieve a specific FPS, though, because the energy of the BB does not change. As mentioned above, the only way to permanently lower your FPS is to replace the spring. You can force an air gap between the hop up and nozzle with a shim, but that could also lead to double-feeding.

Honestly, airsoft guns might be more work than real steel. Airsoft is mostly cast zinc which as you can see leaves mold lines and pitting. The gun pictured is one of the first Arcturus guns. It looks as if it were casted then finished in a CNC mill. I was originally going to paint it blue, but saw the machine and cast marks and it bothered me.
