Farwell High School is a public high school located in Farwell, Texas, USA. It is part of the Farwell Independent School District located in west central Parmer County and classified as a 2A school by the UIL. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. [2]

The school closed in 1967–68 when Leon County Schools were integrated. The Class of 1967 was the last class to graduate as Lincoln High School Tigers. Lincoln High was named after a small section of Tallahassee called Lincoln Heights, an area which was later destroyed. The city extended Frenchtown, so now the area is called Historic Frenchtown.
The township was named after a local Ojibwe (Chippewa) chief who lived in the area from 1781 to 1881. Geography. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.93 square miles (93.06 km 2), of which 35.31 square miles (91.45 km 2) is land and 0.62 square miles (1.61 km 2) (1.73%) is water.
