A layout boat is a low-profile un-motorized oval-like boat that is used by diver duck hunters to hide in when hunting in open water. They are unique to a specialized form of waterfowl hunting called Layout hunting. Most layout boats are used for diver duck or ocean duck hunting where open deep water waterfowl species frequent.
A 1:1 scale construction drawing of a boat and its parts Lines plan A scaled-down version of a full-sized drawing often including the body, plan, profile, and section views Body Plan A view of the boat from both dead ahead and dead astern split in half Plan view A view looking down on the boat from above Profile view A view of the boat from the ...
Waterfowl hunting is the practice of hunting aquatic birds such as ducks, geese and other waterfowls or shorebirds for sport and meat. Waterfowl are hunted in crop fields where they feed, or in areas with bodies of water such as rivers, lakes, ponds, wetlands , sloughs , or coasts. [ 1 ]
The main disadvantage of the ADCPs is the loss of data close to the boundary. This mechanism, often referred to as a sidelobe interference, covers 6–12% of the water column and, for instruments looking up toward the surface, the loss of velocity information close to the surface is a real disadvantage. Cost is also a concern but is normally ...
Fill power is a measure of the loft or "fluffiness" of a down product that is loosely related to the insulating value of the down. The higher the fill power, the more air a certain weight of the down can trap, and thus the more insulating ability the down will have.

A pulse pressure is considered abnormally low if it is less than 25% of the systolic value. [2] If the pulse pressure is extremely low, i.e. 25 mmHg or less, it may indicate low stroke volume, as in congestive heart failure. [3] The most common cause of a low (narrow) pulse pressure is a drop in left ventricular stroke volume.
Effectively it is these deviations in the nominal phase spacing that yield the dispersion of the test pulse . The unknown spectral phase of the pulse can be extracted using a simple, direct algebraic algorithm first described by Takeda. [1] The first step involves Fourier transforming the interferogram into the pseudo time domain:
