Capiz's 2nd congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Capiz. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. [ 3 ]
Capiz initially comprised a single district to the Malolos Congress from 1898 to 1899. It was later divided into three legislative districts from 1907 to 1957, when Aklan was granted its own representation, reducing it to two legislative districts.
