The Seamstress is a 2009 Canadian slasher film directed by Jesse James Miller. In the film, a curse from a woman being tortured by a mob awakens a specter. The specter terrorizes a group of friends who arrive on an island to search for the missing father of the group's leader.
It is an adaptation of the same-titled 2009 novel by María Dueñas, published in the English language under the titles The Time in Between and The Seamstress. It premiered on 21 October 2013 on Antena 3. The premiere was seen by 5.018 million people, making it the most watched premiere on Antena 3 in 12 years. [1] [2]
The seventh Oscar Special was the last content to air on Adult Swim, as the series would move to HEI Network, an independent subscription service, in April 2021. The eighth Oscar special, hosted by Tim, streamed live on HEI Network, while the Ninth Annual Our Cinema Oscar Special (a competing special, hosted by Gregg) streamed live on YouTube.
