My Dress-Up Darling (Japanese: その 着せ替え人形 ( ビスク・ドール ) は恋をする, Hepburn: Sono Bisuku Dōru wa Koi o Suru, transl. "That Bisque Doll Falls in Love") [ a ] is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
The series starred the actor Ernie Coombs as Mr. Dressup. The show aired every weekday morning, Mr. Dressup would lead children through a series of songs, stories, arts, crafts and imagination games, with the help of his puppet friends—a child named Casey and a dog named Finnegan—who lived with him and often played in the tree-house in Mr. Dressup's backyard.
In each episode, Mr. Dressup would dress up in a costume from his Tickle Trunk, and lead children in an imagination game. Many times his puppets would appear in costume as well.
