    The Wilson County commissioners approved a 90-day burn ban during their regular meeting Monday morning, Aug. 26. It is effective immediately. Under the ban, outdoor burning is prohibited. Burning of household trash may be done in a suitably screened container, such as a barrel. No burning of brush is allowed. Wilson County is now under a burn ban.
