    Even if you never got scammed, your funds could be held by PayPal, or the item could be lost or damaged in the mail. Buyers can open a case with PayPal for up to 180 days after payment. The money isn't 100% yours until after that time. If you really need the funds now, this isn't a good option.

    From what I can tell for most domestic items, the fee is now 12.5%, but it is taken from the total of the sale price + tax that the buyer pays. (Which in my state, sales tax is 10%) So it really comes out to about 17% of the price I sell an item for. Which is worse than the 10% eBay fee + 3% PayPal fee it used to be.
