Jack Easterby (born March 24, 1983) is the former executive vice president of football operations for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). Prior to joining the Texans in 2019, he served as chaplain and in character-coaching roles.
At the Post, Carter covered college athletics for one year before taking over as beat reporter on the Houston Oilers for two years. In 1993, with the Post fighting a losing battle to compete with the Chronicle, Carter left the newspaper for a high-school teaching position.
