My Many Colored Days is a children's book written by Theodor Geisel under the pen name Dr. Seuss. It features animals representing different emotions on different days. These include a horse, flamingos, a seal, a wolf, an anteater, a bee, a fish, and a bird.
Containing much black humour, the book contains sickening and grotesque stories about ratcatching, maggot breeding, poaching, and the mysteries and eccentricities of rural life. The first story “Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life” talks about the trouble of taking a cow to be mated with a prime bull.
The Colourful Life is the only studio album by British indie rock band Cajun Dance Party, recorded whilst studying for their A-Levels.. The band released the song "The Hill, The View & The Lights" the only song on the album to feature Vicky Freund on vocals, as a free download from their website to promote the album.
"This Is My Country" is an American patriotic song composed in 1940. The lyrics are by Don Raye and the music is by Al Jacobs. [ 1 ] Fred Waring and His Pennsylvanians were the first to record the song, in 1942.
