The airline was founded on 9 January 2023 by former aviation veterans, Harsha Raghavan, who was the former head of Fairfax India, and Manoj Chacko, who was the former vice-executive of Mumbai-based WNS Global Services. They were also a part of Kingfisher Airlines that ceased operations in October 2012 due to bankruptcy.
