The name El Gráfico goes back to a newspaper that was founded by Pepe and José Roberto Dutriz in 1939. Today's sports newspaper first appeared in 2004 and currently has a circulation of around 50,000 copies a day. It is distributed all over El Salvador. The editorial team consists of around 20 full-time editors and six sports photographers.
Brayan "El Comandante" Gil first began training in the lower categories of the Fundación Educando a un Salvadoreño (FESA). He later went to Brujos Mario Calvo of the El Salvador Promotion league, becoming top scorer with 15 goals at 17 years of age and won the "Silver Goal" award from the sports magazine El Gráfico.

La Prensa Gráfica currently costs US$0.50 and is one of the two biggest newspapers in El Salvador, the other being El Diario de Hoy. [citation needed] The Newspaper uses the Goodnews system of publishing. The current director of the newspaper is Rodolfo Dutriz, while the director of the Grupo Dutriz is José Roberto Dutriz. The Apertura 2014 season was the 33rd edition of El Salvador's Primera Division since its establishment of an Apertura and Clausura format. Isidro Metapán were the defending champions. The league consisted of 10 teams, each playing a home and away game against the other clubs for a total of 18 games, respectively.
The Copa El Salvador 2016–17 is the fifth staging of the Copa El Salvador football tournament and the first was played since the 2014–15 edition when the tournament was known as the Copa Presidente. [1] This tournament started on 16 October 2016. [2]
