University of Lucknow (informally known as Lucknow University, and LU) is a public state university based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. LU's main campus is located at Badshah Bagh, [4] University Road area of the city with a second campus at Jankipuram. It is the largest state university of Uttar Pradesh.
The university conducted central examinations each semester for all the affiliated colleges and institutions. Results were declared using technology-enabled systems. At present, in August 2019 around 4,00,000 students are enrolled in its programmes. The medium of instruction and examination is English. [5]

Later on in 1976 it was named Masters in Business Administration. The admission for the post graduate programme is done through Common Admission Test (CAT).

Ambedkar, social reformer, polymath and the architect of the Indian Constitution. The university was established on 10 January 1996.
The institute was formerly affiliated (1984–2000) to the University of Lucknow and from 2000 to 2012 to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. The institute had been a constituent college of Gautam Buddh Technical University(2010–2012). Currently it is under Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University(2015–present).
