Leo Vincent Gordon (December 2, 1922 – December 26, 2000) was an American character actor and screenwriter. [1] During more than 40 years in film and television he was most frequently cast as a supporting actor playing brutish bad guys but occasionally played more sympathetic roles just as effectively.
Scott was born on February 14, 1902, in Fresno, California, United States. [citation needed] He took voice lessons as a child and started acting in community theater at sixteen followed by working with a traveling troupe.
The movie industry began with the work of Louis Le Prince in 1888. Until 1903 , films had been one-reelers, usually lasting 10 to 12 minutes, [ 1 ] reflecting the amount of film that could be wound onto a standard reel for projection, hence the term.
