"Kutti Story" (transl. Short story) is an Indian Tamil-language song composed by Anirudh Ravichander for the soundtrack album of the 2021 film Master. The song was sung by actor Vijay and Anirudh, in his second song he sung for Anirudh after "Selfie Pulla" for Kaththi (2014) and the lyrics were penned by Arunraja Kamaraj.
The soundtrack album features eight tracks, with lyrics written by Arunraja Kamaraj, Gana Balachandar, Arivu, Vignesh Shivan and Vishnu Edavan. Composers Yuvan Shankar Raja and Santhosh Narayanan, [3] also sung one song for this film, while the latter collaborates with Anirudh for the second time after Remo (2016), [4] and the former's first collaboration with the composer. The song "Meghamaai Vandhu" which was supposed to be the theme song of the film, was inspired from Urdu song "Sayonee" sang by the Pakistani band Junoon in 1997; Ezhil wanted a Tamil version of it. After the song was recorded, he learned that Deva had used the same tune for "Salomiya" from Kannedhirey Thondrinal .
