    * Tenpoint crossbows are overpriced and not to reliable in my eyes. This is the second crossbow Ive bought from them, and both have had broken limbs, plus the return rate of two weeks during prime time season is unacceptable. I'm not the only one Ive heard of many crack limbs with Tenpoint crossbows from many different people

I have been practicing with that safety ever since I got my Tenpoint. It is possible to use one hand but it must be a very slow movement. It was also hard to find on my defender so I practice both finding it and engaging it when the bluebirds are flying and the deer aren't moving. The safety is the only weakness that I have found in my bow.

Horton's intellectual property was purchased by TenPoint (Hunters MFG.) so when TP brought back the Horton brand it is under the TP banner just like Wicked Ridge. The TP scope is not a piece of garbage, at least it wasn't 4 years ago, the WR is a little down the food chain though.

  7. Ten Point's new crossbow articles says worlds fastest.

And crossbows started failing users. And users began failing cross bows. Fast! Precise to a 100! Wow! Go 10 point. I bowhunt again it will be with one of two older model (pre alleged need for speed) Excaliburs here running around 350 f.p.s.. Without coming unraveled. While still field serviceable. They'll poke a broadhead through a deer just fine.

I'm new to crossbows also. I have a Tenpoint TX440 on order. I went and shot quite a few crossbows before deciding. I didn't shoot the R18, I shot the R10 though. I preferred Tenpoints cranking system over Ravins. They both will kill deer just fine and I think both make quality products. I also like Tenpoint Venom X and Siege 425. I almost got ...
