I had no idea that Rosalind Russell was a Republican. Especially after so convincingly playing "Auntie Mame." She supported Richard Nixon in 1960 for President, and in 1962 for Governor of California. What a bummer.
Kilgallen is especially fun when she's so off the track in trying to identify Rosalind Russell, one of the funniest mystery guests. For a really long tie, Dorothy believes that Roz is a man, and the audience eats it up. It's hilarious.
