Bob Pepper (October 23, 1938—January 16, 2019) [1] was an American illustrator whose work included record and paperback covers, greeting cards, magazine illustrations and game artwork, between the 1960s and 1980s.
He was formerly creative director of Abrams Books, and prior to that, vice president and art director for Vintage Books and Anchor Books, both imprints of Random House. He is well known for the minimal wit in his design style and is notable for the sheer number of book covers he has designed. His awards include over 60 AIGA Annual Awards. [2]
