St. Kilian's Heritage Centre is located in the village of Mullagh in County Cavan. It was opened in 1995 by the then President of Ireland, Mary Robinson. [ 5 ] Built by the local community in association with the Diocese of Würzburg in southern Germany, the Heritage Centre features many relics and replicas of the saint.
Church of St. Kilian (Catholic) is a historic church in Wilmont Township, Minnesota, USA. The parish was founded in 1878, when the pastor of Church of St. Adrian recognized the increasing number of settlers in the area.
This building, with two transepts, already was very similar to today's cathedral. Today's crypt was built around 1100 AD. Similarly, a chapel to St. Bartholomew, connected to the cathedral, [2] would be built after 1015 by Greek monks. [3] Another fire in 1133 damaged the church, but its core survived.
The cathedral today has 20 bells, with a total combined weight of 26 tons. The largest bell or bourdon is the Salvator Bell with a diameter of 2.3 m and weighing in at 10 tons. [ 3 ] : 44 Of the old bells only the Lobdeburg Bell , by Cunradus Citewar of Würzburg, the most prominent bellfounder of his time, dates from 1257.

When World War II broke out, most of the art treasures, such as the altar or the stained glass in the church were moved to the tunnels of the salt mine in Kochendorf. On September 10, 1944, American incendiary bombs damaged the roof. The British attack on December 4, 1944, destroyed almost the entire church. [5]
