Rainbow Song (虹の女神, Niji no Megami) is a 2006 Japanese film by director Naoto Kumazawa and produced by Shunji Iwai (who also co-wrote the screenplay under pseudonym Aminosan). Kumazawa had worked with Iwai before, having directed the making-of documentary for Swallowtail Butterfly .
The song was re-record in Japanese as the group's first single in Japan. It was released digitally on September 7, 2011, [6] and physically on September 14 [7] in four different versions: three limited editions (CD+DVD, CD + 32-pages photobook and CD only with a bonus track) and a regular edition.
A teaser of the video was first introduced on the TV show ZIP! on February 24 and later revealed on YouTube by their Japanese label, Universal Sigma, on the same day.
