Kurumi transfers into Shido's class in volume 3 and even announces that she is a Spirit. She is attracted to Shido from the very start, gaining the envy of Tohka and Origami.
Kurumi is a third-year middle-schooler with a very high metabolism, which causes her to get hungry very easily. She constantly wears headphones and has her hood up in order to block out as much food-related talk as possible due to her cravings when hearing food-like words. Kurumi is shown to have two personalities which depend on how hungry she is.
