Henry Ford & Son Limited (commonly referred to as Ford Ireland) [1] is the Irish subsidiary of the United States–based automaker Ford Motor Company. It formerly operated an assembly plant for motor vehicles and was part of the automotive industry in Ireland .

Between 1932 and 1937, over 157,000 were made at Dagenham and Cork, and at its peak it captured 41% of its market sector. In 1938, Ford's Cork factory hit an important milestone, producing its 25,000th vehicle since becoming an assembly plant in 1932.
