The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) is a formal U.S. government interagency body composed of five banking regulators that is "empowered to prescribe uniform principles, standards, and report forms to promote uniformity in the supervision of financial institutions". [2]

The test is offered by the College Board. Approximately 2,900 colleges and universities will grant college credits for each test. Both U.S. and international schools grant CLEP credit. The Ffiec entry does seem to represent the same entity however, as noted in another thread, it should be "FFIEC" (in capitals) and the title should capitalize all words (as this one does).
