Much in the way that Mr. Krabs, the proprietor of the Krusty Krab, guards the Krabby Patty secret formula in the cartoon series, Wendy's plans to guard the sauce's recipe in real life.
The Krusty Krab is a fictional fast food restaurant in the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. In the television show the restaurant is famous for its signature burger, the Krabby Patty , the formula to which is a closely guarded trade secret .
"Culture Shock": The Krusty Krab has a lack of customers, and Mr. Krabs tells Squidward and SpongeBob that the Krusty Krab needs ideas to bring in some more. Squidward suggests a talent show at the Krusty Krab, and Mr. Krabs agrees. When the night of the show arrives, it is a major success, attracting a full house of customers.
Once Mr. Krabs gains success from this, he stops selling fresh Krabby Patties and turns the Krusty Krab into a museum. This meant SpongeBob had to save the Krabby Patty, as well as his friendship with Patrick. There were five shorts that were shown on February 18, 2017, for the special before it aired.

"Blood is Thicker Than Grease": Plankton's parents come to town and start up the potato-based Spud Bucket restaurant right next to the Chum Bucket, overtaking it and the Krusty Krab. While Plankton attempts to sabotage the Spud Bucket, Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob watch and have a laugh as everything will eventually return to the status quo.
