The Super Rink at National Sports Center is a 300,000-square-foot (28,000 m 2) ice rink facility that features eight sheets of ice and is the largest ice arena complex in the world. [2] It is located on the National Sports Center campus in Blaine, Minnesota , a northern suburb of Minneapolis – Saint Paul .
From 2004-2009, the WCCHA Tournament was held at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota, home of the St. Cloud State University Huskies. In 2010, the tournament moved to the neutral venue Schwan Super Rink at the National Sports Center. In 2014, the tournament moved for one year to the Coon Rapids Ice Center.
