Epsom & Ewell Football Club is a football club based in Epsom, Surrey, England. Affiliated to the Surrey County Football Association , [ 2 ] the club are currently members of the Combined Counties League Premier Division South and groundshare at Corinthian-Casuals ' King George's Field in Tolworth .
In 2005–06 they won the League Cup, and the following season saw them end the season as Division One runners-up. [2] In 2008 Epsom were founder members of the Surrey Elite Intermediate League. [3] They finished as league runners-up in 2010–11 but were refused promotion to the Combined Counties League. [1]

After his playing career he went on to manage Epsom & Ewell from 1973 until 1982. [3] During his time there he went on to win the Surrey Senior League , division two of the Isthmian League and took the club to the first final of the FA Vase .

The Premier Division was reduced from 22 to 20 clubs, and featured four new teams after the promotion of Westfield and Bedfont Sports to the Southern League, the transfer of North Greenford United to Spartan South Midlands League Division One, and the relegation of Godalming Town, Epsom & Ewell and Farnham Town to Division One:
Smith was born in Epsom and made an appearance for his hometown club on the final day of the 1997–98 Isthmian League Third Division season. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] He continued his career at Charlton Athletic , but was released in the summer of 1999, after one year as a professional.
When Epsom and Ewell were awarded borough status in 1937, he was chosen as the "Charter Mayor", and led the activities celebrating the new Borough’s charter. He was appointed a deputy lieutenant for the county of Surrey. [14] Ede also became chairman of the British Electrical Development Association in 1937. [20]
