Akainu defeats Inazuma and Ivankov, then chases down Jimbei and punches through his chest, severely injuring both him and Luffy. The two fall to the ice below, but Crocodile attacks Akainu and launches Luffy into the air, where Buggy catches him. Crocodile and Whitebeard's division commanders fight Akainu to cover Luffy's escape.
Luffy attempt to fight back using Armament Haki, but his punches go right though him, much to Luffy's confusion, as Trebol question Luffy's assumption of his Devil Fruit being a Logia. Law tells Luffy that fighting Trebol is futile, while revealing Trebol's slime is in fact mucus, before he begins to insult Trebol and the other executives.

Then, the centaur whom Luffy beat earlier tells his boss that the Straw Hats are heading to the frozen side of Punk Hazard.
Uta decides to kill Luffy in the real world, but is stopped by Shanks and his crew. Shanks tries to help Uta, but Akainu orders for the Marines to fire on her without regard for the concertgoers, forcing the Red-Haired Pirates to go on the defensive.
Saturn orders the Pacifistas to open fire, but Vegapunk, fearing they could be used to kill Bonney, had programmed unbreakable loyalty to her and they instead disrupt the Buster Call. Saturn stabs Vegapunk and orders Kizaru to kill Bonney and Kuma, but Luffy revives with a full tummy as Gear Five/Nika and effortlessly stops the Admiral.
In the anime, Kuro resumed pirate life following his defeat and saw that the bounty for Luffy has gone up following Arlong's defeat. In the Japanese anime television series, Kuro is voiced by Kōichi Hashimoto. In the 4Kids English adaptation, he is voiced by Gary Mack, while his voice actor in the Funimation English adaptation is Kent Williams.
Luffy retorts with another Red Hawk, but Hordy is still standing. Chopper reveals he now only needs one Rumble Ball for his Monster Point, which he now has full control of.
