D&W Fresh Market is an American regional supermarket chain owned and operated by SpartanNash, which acquired the chain in 2006. Founded in 1943 in Grandville, Michigan , the chain consists of ten stores in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan .

In 1992, Glen's acquired former Giant locations in Petoskey, East Tawas, and Alpena, followed by a second Petoskey location in a former Buy Low Foods a year later. The East Tawas store, along with an existing store in Alpena that opened in 1988, were both closed and converted to Save-A-Lot in 1997.
Meinig studied foreign service at Georgetown University, and then earned graduate degrees in geography from the University of Washington in 1950 and 1953, under the supervision of Howard H. Martin; he was also strongly influenced by historian Carroll Quigley and Australian geographer Graham H. Lawton.

D. W. Rutledge is a former high school football coach and current executive director of the Texas High School Coaches Association. Rutledge is one of the most successful coaches in Texas high school football history, winning four state championships in the state's highest classification.
He took the stage name of "D. W." to avoid confusion with British actor Donald Moffat. In 1984, he appeared in a Broadway production of The Real Thing. [6] He then starred opposite Brad Davis in the original stage production of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart in 1985, playing a gay man dying of AIDS, [7] for which he won critical acclaim.
