Pennsylvania Route 35 (PA 35) is a 70.8-mile-long (113.9 km) state highway located in central Pennsylvania. The southern terminus of the route is at U.S. Route 522 (US 522) near Shade Gap . The northern terminus is at US 11 / US 15 in Selinsgrove .
It is situated at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 94 (Carlisle Pike) and Pennsylvania Route 394 (Huntersville Hampton Road). Via Route 94, it is 21 miles (34 km) north to Carlisle and 10 miles (16 km) south to Hanover. According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has an area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km 2), all land.
It is a short distance west of Fleetwood and south of U.S. Route 222. Willow Creek flows west through the CDP into Maiden Creek, just east of the latter's mouth into the Schuylkill River. Walnuttown is served by the Fleetwood post office, which uses the ZIP code of 19522. [1] As of the 2010 census, the population of Walnuttown was 484. [2]

PA 3 was extended east to PA 291 and PA 611 at Philadelphia City Hall during the 1970s. The route followed Chestnut and Walnut streets to US 13 at 38th Street before running along Chestnut Street eastbound and Market Street westbound to 30th Street Station, where it shifted to Market Street eastbound and John F. Kennedy Boulevard westbound. [21]
