Footprint Center (formerly America West Arena, US Airways Center, [10] Talking Stick Resort Arena and Phoenix Suns Arena) is a multi-purpose arena in Phoenix, Arizona. It opened under the name America West Arena on June 6, 1992, at a cost of $89 million.
The Coliseum was also host to the Phoenix Mustangs hockey team as part of the West Coast Hockey League and the Phoenix Eclipse ABA basketball team. The arena remains open for some events, even though the Suns left in 1992 for America West Arena (now Footprint Center).
