Earle Harry Decker (September 3, 1864 - ?) was an American Major League Baseball catcher. Walker was born in Lockport, Illinois . He played four seasons in Major League Baseball, with the Indianapolis Hoosiers , Kansas City Cowboys , Detroit Wolverines , Washington Nationals , Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates .
The Hot Pants Patrol was a group used by the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team in the 1970s, [1] designed to attract greater attendance, particularly by men, to home games at Veterans Stadium. It consisted of a number of attractive young "fillies" or "usherettes" who were assigned to various sections throughout the stadium. [ 2 ]
1910 – "The Black & Decker Manufacturing Company" was founded by S. Duncan Black (1883–1951) and Alonzo G. Decker (1884–1956) as a small machine shop in Baltimore in September. Decker, who had only a seventh grade education, had met Black in 1906, when they were both 23-year-old workers at the Rowland Telegraph Company.
