The Q11, Q21, Q52, and Q53 bus routes constitute a public transit corridor running along Woodhaven and Cross Bay Boulevards in Queens, New York City.The corridor extends primarily along the length of the two boulevards through "mainland" Queens, a distance of 6 miles (9.7 km) [3]: 19 between Elmhurst and the Jamaica Bay shore in Howard Beach.
Northbound, the Q52 terminates at Queens Center Mall on Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst, the corridor’s northern end, while the Q53 continues via Queens Boulevard and Broadway to Woodside, at the 61st Street subway and Woodside LIRR stations. Local service along the corridor is provided by the Q21, until its southern terminus at 164th Avenue.
Queens Place is an urban shopping mall in Elmhurst, Queens, New York City. Just northwest of the larger Queens Center , it is located on Queens Boulevard between 55th and 56th Avenues. The building was constructed in 1965 as Macy's and was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill .
