Delaware Route 24 (DE 24) is a state highway located in Sussex County, Delaware.The route runs from Maryland Route 348 (MD 348) at the Maryland border east of Sharptown, Maryland, east to an intersection with DE 1 in Midway, between Lewes and Rehoboth Beach.
Between those municipalities, US 113 serves the towns of Frankford, Dagsboro, Millsboro, Georgetown, and Ellendale. The U.S. Highway intersects several east–west highways that connect US 113 with the Delaware beach towns to the east, including Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, and Fenwick Island.
Millsboro is directly served by the four-lane U.S. Route 113 and three other major highways - Delaware Route 20, Delaware Route 24, and Delaware Route 30. Located along the headwaters of the Indian River, there is direct access to the Indian River Bay and, in turn, the Atlantic Ocean.
US 9/DE 404 heads east-northeast out of Georgetown and becomes Lewes Georgetown Highway, passing through farmland and woodland with some development. The two routes intersect the eastern terminus of US 9 Truck/DE 404 Truck a short distance east of Georgetown. In the community of Gravel Hill, the road crosses DE 30.
