Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War (BLEACH 千年血戦篇, Burīchi: Sennen Kessen-hen), also known as Bleach: The Blood Warfare, is a Japanese anime television series based on the Bleach manga series by Tite Kubo and a direct sequel to the Bleach anime series that ran from 2004 until 2012.
The season aired from July 2005 to January 2006 on TV Tokyo. The English adaptation of the season began airing in July 2007 on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim in the United States. [3] In October 2007 the series went on a hiatus; episodes resumed airing in March 2008 and finished in May of the same year. [4]
