Arkaquah Trail northern terminus at Brasstown Bald. Hiking trails lead to the summit of nearby Blood Mountain. The recreational area has camping loops offer 36 campsites, including 21 which can accommodate tents and RVs; these sites provide utility hook-ups. There is also a group camping area which accommodates up to 25 people. [19] The area houses comfort stations with flush toilets and showers.
In addition to camping, the campground area also offers a Day Use area with a roped-off swimming area, picnic tables, grills, group shelters and restrooms as well as several hiking trails located on Grassy Mountain including the 1.2-mile (1.9 km) Lake Conasauga Trail, the 1.7-mile (2.7 km) Songbird Trail and the 2-mile (3.2 km) Grassy Mountain Tower Trail.
