Acadia Parish (French: Paroisse de l'Acadie) is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana.At the 2020 U.S. census, the population was 57,576. [1] The parish seat and the most populous municipality is Crowley. [2]
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Shreveport, Louisiana was built in 1896. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. [ 1 ] The current structure is the third church, with the first being constructed in 1856 by Fr. Jean Pierre, who became the first pastor.

A Chapel of the Holy Trinity at Privett was first recorded in 1391, [3] but any remaining evidence of it disappeared when the present church was built on the same site. The size of the new church far outstripped the requirements of the small rural parish, [ 3 ] and it was eventually declared redundant in 1975.
