The Geneva Bible is one of the most historically significant translations of the Bible into English, preceding the Douay Rheims Bible by 22 years, and the King James Version by 51 years. Cranmer's Bible is actually the Great Bible, with a preface written by Cranmer for the second edition in 1540.
