A Line Made by Walking is a 1967 sculpture by British artist Richard Long. The piece was made when Long walked a continuous line into a field of grass in Wiltshire, England, and then photographed the result. [1] The work is considered to be an important early work in the history of both land art and conceptual art.
Sir Richard Julian Long, CBE, RA (born 2 June 1945) is an English sculptor and one of the best-known British land artists. Long is the only artist to have been short-listed four times for the Turner Prize. He was nominated in 1984, 1987 and 1988, and then won the award in 1989 for White Water Line. [2]
However, he never had formal studio training, which places him in the Visionary art category. [2] Sewell's art follows naturalistic themes, and animals feature prominently in his creations. His collage-like sculpture is assembled from metal, wood, and plastic that he collects from trash, yard sales, and flea markets. [3]

[2] Tu Long is best known internationally for his work on the art of living: Kao Pan Yu Shi, (考槃余事, "Desultory Remarks on Furnishing the Abode of the Retired Scholar"), first published in 1606.
Taiwan Buffalo (also known as Taiwan Buffalos, or Water Buffalo) is a plaster bas-relief work, which was completed in 1930 by the Taiwanese sculptor Huang Tu-shui.It is regarded as an important work in the history of Taiwanese art by art history researchers such as Hsiao Chong-ray and Yen Chuan-ying.
Junk Yard Family is a 2004 cast iron and chain sculpture created by Mrinal Haque. It stands on the pier at the entrance to a gas station in Tejgaon since 2004. [1] [2] The sculpture was officially inaugurated on the first week of 2005. [1] It is a private sculpture, Haque made for Southern Automobile gas station. [1] [2]
